Last year I researched on Beard Trimmers on various websites, various models, juggling with all the pros and cons, quality, durability, guarantee, price, brand and what not !!!
Finally I zeroed down to this Philips Beard Trimmer and writing an independent review on my own website in my own way 🙂 You know it authenticity guaranteed 🙂
After about a year of usage I can say that build quality of this Philips Beard Trimmer is great, I dropped it almost three times but it has tolerated it kindly 🙂 he ! he !!
The design is absolutely flawless.
Plus points of Philips Beard Trimmer
[model QT4011/15 Pro Skin Advance Trimmer]
- Geared to use as Corded or Cordless
Most of the time I have used it cordless, but reading to reviews of many other models I have tried using this while charging and it works absolutely fine 🙂 I mean you can use it both ways corded or cordless … works fine …
- Charging time
This model gets full charge in an hour or so providing ~1.5 hours of cordless use, which is absolutely gr8 compared to what I have read for many other trimmers in market
- Detachable Heads
It has got quick detachable head which I have not opened on my own, but got to know when I dropped it first time 😛
After that I cleaned the head using comb provided with the kit, however I never cleaned it again ! But believe me it is very easy to get it out, clean and refit ..
- Trimmer comb height adjustment
IT has 20 Length Settings from 0.5 mm to 10 mm, I use it with variance depending upon mustache or underarm use.
- Battery charge indicator
Battery charging easy indication provided, as you put it for charging, light blinks orange and turns green with battery full indication
This trimmer is designed to have Non-Scratch round tipped stainless steel blades which are titanium-coated which behaves absolutely smooth to your skin. [of-course if you use it without comb and plunge it by mistake, it will surely bite]
The only negative point of this Philips Beard Trimmer model is that it is not water-proof, but I never felt it as a must …. So just ignore it …
So overall after a year of usage I felt it is a Value for Money !
Now that I am planning to replace my raise with electric shaver .. will start my research soon … wait for review on shaver … till then Cheers !!!
