Over and above it they have also modified the connecting cable which is now more thicker and wider, which means less entanglement and more life to the cable. You can abuse them more than before 🙂 squeeze them in bag like you wish. This aspect is more important since now a days everyone do not have time to take care of such small thing like keeping the headphone securely! all that is needed is tumble them in the purse or backpack and go!!
Lastly they also carry the improvement in the microphone, cVc8.0 noise cancellation over old cVc6.0, which means you also gain benefits like BH07 UG model.
To get all the above things in a package you need to spend extra $10 (as on 13 April 2019), but I feel its worth it, specially the durability improvements are must for a person like me who is lazy to get things nicely inside a bag.
