iFrogz Bluetooth headphones won’t connect?

Now lets look at common problem of iFrogx headphones or earbuds not connecting to the smart phone or Bluetooth device.

Sometimes the problem can be as simple as low battery, dead battery or an unsuccessful pairing.

Here is simple troubleshoot guide which may help you resolving pairing concern quickly –

Steps to resolve pairing concern

Workaround 1) Reboot devices

Restart your device, in this case say smartphone as well as the earbuds or headphones.

Keep both units i.e. phone and headphones near to each other, say about 1 feet distance without any barriers between them.

This should resolve the issue, if not proceed to next try.

Workaround 2) Battery dead

Turn your wireless earbuds/headphones OFF and ON. You should see the LED status light illuminate briefly

If you see that there are no LED blinking, then surely the earbuds/headphones battery is dead.

Go and recharge headphones using wall charger.

After FULL charging, switch ON earbuds/headphones and try pairing again with smartphone.

If the LED does not illuminate, then goto the bottom section of this post, where customer care number of iFrogz Audio is given for reference. Go ahead and contact them.

Workaround 3) Re-pair

Goto your smartphone, switch ON Bluetooth, you will see list of devices paired.

SETTINGS → BLUETOOTH → ON

Locate the iFrogx headphones and FORGET them.

Now you are ready to repair the earbuds/headphones. Repeat pairing process.

Note – If you get pairing error, then try rebooting the smartphone.

iFrogz Bluetooth headphones audio cuts?

If you are having problem of interrupted audio playback or signal loss, this is due to weak Bluetooth signal or barrier coming in between the earbuds/headphones and phone.

This indicates that earbuds/headphones are not getting sufficient powerd Bluetooth signal, remember that Bluetooth itself is a low power transmission technology working on 2.4GHz band. Hence any barriers such as a wall or even water absorbs or disrupts Bluetooth waves creating cut sound.

Simply try changing the location of your device relative to your earbuds/headphones. As an example your body (which contains water) is creating hurdle in signal transmission. If you have kept your smartphone in back-pocket, move it to front pocket or you are using a jacket which is made from fabric, try removing it.

Also being low power signals, weak battery of h]earbuds/headphones will impact signal reception capacity, try charging batteries of both devices before using.
