Raycon E50 vs E70 vs E80 vs E100 | Wireless Earbuds Bluetooth Headphones Comparison

Raycon is having a range of wireless earbuds which have prices starting from $80 to $120 as on June 2019, simple question came to my mind on what are the differences in these models which makes me pay $40 more as compared to the base version and what is that I will get more. So in this review I will be comparing Raycon E50 vs E70 vs E80 vs E100 | Wireless Earbuds Bluetooth Headphones.

First of all I have listed down all the common features among all the Raycon wireless earbuds and then I will look into differences which makes them distinct w.r.t. each other.

Common features ofΒ Raycon E50 vs E70 vs E80 vs E100

Design

Looks and finish is great with use of good quality composite plastic. Designed to be very light weight so that you can wear it for hours without any issues.

Like most of the standard earbuds in market, Raycon also supplies 6 different sized soft silicone gel tips which will ensure best fit to any ear canal sizes. So everyone at house can use them.

Also perfect fit will ensure passive noise isolation.

Further you will be able to use them for sports too, like E100 model is IPX7 waterproof allowing use during swimming too, however I am not so sure if it falls inside water you will be able to find it πŸ™‚ Luckily E100 are shaped such that you will be able to attach a string to it to protect falling inside water during swimming.

Also the looks is contemporary so you will be surely happy to flaunt them with ultimate comfort.

Sound Quality

This is one of the main factor which decides if you are really going to spend $80 to $120 which is considered to be at higher range as compared to other models of wireless earbuds in market.

So surely these earbuds provide nice crisp sound (this is based on study on various websites and customer reviews).

The shape of earbuds make them perfectly isolate outside sound in passive way.

The microphone makes hands-free use for calling on move. Although the website do not mention anything about CVC6.0 noise isolation, I assume that since the technology is so cheap that it is available in all entry level earbuds, these earbuds costing $80 must be having CVC6 technology.

Use them in Single earbuds mode

Like most of the other earbuds which are designed to be independent once, main use is that two persons can use them to listen to the same music.

Another advantage that can be taken is that both L & R earbuds can also be separately used to listen different music. So if you are on holiday and have a pair of these earbuds, then one of them can be used by you and other by your partner, which is called as single mode operation.

Another use can be, use single earbud and keep the other one for charging, so that when first one runs out of battery, you can take the other in charging capsule and use. This will provide you continuous 50 hours of operation. Specially useful for outdoor hiking or camping. Further models like E100 which are waterproof can be used during rainy season too.

Battery life

Again the main earbuds have 4-5 hours of music playtime or call time capability which is further extended to about 20-25 hours with use of charging capsule.

The battery capacity is 750 mAh which is fairly strong if you compare them with other earbuds in market.

If you ask me, 4-5 hours of operation for such earbuds is pretty strong and sufficient for a day operation.

One more point that assists such increased battery life is Bluetooth 5.0 which is low energy protocol technology.

The capsule which also acts as earbuds holder (when not in use) also acts as charging powerbank for earbuds. This is like double advantage, when you store them, auto charging happens. The capsule is capable of recharging the earbuds 4 times, which means you need not have a charger with you on long weekends or no external powerhouse needed.

Quick charging

15 Minutes in the case will give you 1.5 hours of talk-time or music playtime. Specially useful for frequent travelers.

Bluetooth / Wireless connectivity

These earbuds uses Bluetooth 5.0 which is latest technology.

What it means is uninterrupted connectivity to the smartphone, extra long battery life with use of low energy protocol.

The Realtek RL8763B chip contains Realtek’s latest RCV (Real Clear Voice) technology which means you will get clear quality of sound.
