During CES 2018, Giant JBL announced its second generation jumbo portable Bluetooth speaker which will be successor of the JBL Xtreme .. with fully waterproof rugged design it will also deliver powerful audio performance for sure.
The shipping is expected to start this spring and the price rumors are around $300 mark

Yes, older version of Xtreme was only Splash-proof, as against the new introduction Xtreme2 is fully waterproof with IPX7 rating, which indicates that it will survive for 30 minutes of immersion in 1 meter depth of water … this is equivalent to the Apple Series 1 watches - JBL Connect+ : Link 100 Speakers at a time! wow !!
All new JBL Xtreme 2 are JBL Connect+ enabled, which simply means that you will be able to link up to 100 JBL Connect+ enabled speakers together !! Wow !! BOOM !! MEGA BOOM !!! just imagine what will happen when you do this in reality ? I loved this idea .. someone can really make big friends party at night 🙂
